Test Automation 101

Test Automation 101

Mike Horn, a writer for Smartsheet, reached out to me and several other test automation practitioners for a piece he was writing on the basics of test automation. Mike, not being an automation engineer himself, didn’t know what he was getting into when he opened this can of worms. He quickly discovered just how complex of a craft that it is, and I applaud him for his extensive and thorough research. For those who are new or old to the field, I highly recommend this comprehensive review: Automated Software Testing Isn’t Automatic: Introduction to the Basics.
